5 Miles Down!

This week proved to be a good week for training.

Due to some cool weather in our area, the conditions during my early morning runs were ideal, and I set two personal bests doing my daily, three-mile runs.

And on Sunday, I was able to set a new long distance record of five miles. I incorporated all the lessons I learned the week prior and made sure to fuel up prior to my run, brought some water along, and made sure to bring a small towel. I know I still have a long way to go to reach 26.2, but, “every great journey begins with a single step.”
