We had a great time, enjoyed the warm Florida weather, and then headed back. It was good to spend some quality time with my brother too, who&#8217;s now on his way to North Carolina to learn to fly the CH-53E helicopter.<\/p>\n<p>When we returned home, we had one day to wash all our clothes and get things in order before Jamie and I left for Punta Cana. We spent a week there, enjoying the weather, sipping tropical drinks, and lounging out by the pool all day. It was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, but after having been away from home for over two weeks, I think we&#8217;re both ready to spend some time in our own house.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow morning I&#8217;m off to the orthodontist to have my upper braces taken off! Lowers are being removed on Monday!
